Important update on the Melbourne Art Festival

The Melbourne Art Festival organization’s website states that its 2027 festival has been canceled and that it plans a spring 2027 Fine Art Auction instead. The page reviewed did not establish a specific auction date.

Do not copy a previous year’s April festival dates into a 2027 calendar. Also keep the festival distinct from the separately organized winter and spring Art & Craft Expos at Wickham Park.

How to plan rocket launch viewing in 2026 and 2027

Rocket launches are a distinctive part of living on the Space Coast, but they require a different approach from a concert date. Mission windows can change, and a postponed launch may require a new plan.

Use the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex launch and event pages for its official viewing opportunities and admission details. The visitor complex says its publicly announced launch information remains subject to change with little notice.

For a supplementary mission schedule, Spaceflight Now identifies launch sites and explains “NET” as “no earlier than” and “TBD” as “to be determined.” Its schedule includes other spaceports, so check that the mission is launching from Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral, and convert the stated time zone correctly.

Do not treat an old “upcoming launch” page as proof the mission is still ahead. Check the mission’s current status before traveling or purchasing viewing tickets.

Artemis III is a 2027 mission to follow

NASA’s current Artemis III mission page lists a 2027 launch target from Kennedy Space Center. It describes a crewed demonstration in low Earth orbit to test systems needed for future lunar landings.
